Miami Valley Meals began as the brain child of Chef Matt DeAngulo in his quest to feed the hungry during the 2020 pandemic. The goal of Miami Valley Meals is to support, enhance and expand the work of feeding the hungry throughout the Miami Valley.
Each week our chefs receive hundreds of pounds of donated food, much of which is on the verge of being wasted. They give the food a second chance by transforming it into a delicious meal! The team works quickly to plan, prep, and package the meals to get them in the freezer, where they wait to be picked up by our awesome network of partners feeding the hungry.
